odesta~~~ i think we all can agree that finnick’s death was kind of unnecessary *cries in a corner*
drew this 4 am in the morning… i have a lot of sleepless nights these days welp i wanted to test out a few brush settings since i destroyed my fav settings  ; ^^ ; pls ignore the anatomy THANK YOUU ; v ;

The family stood at the edge of the water, right where the end of the waves could lap at their toes.
“Finnick please, no.”
“Annie he’s a year old now. It’s time, you can’t be afraid forever. Besides, it’s not like we’re just throwing him in.”
Annie’s eyes started to water up and she started to shake. Finnick quickly pulled his wife into a hug, sandwiching their son between them. The baby squirmed uncomfortably as Finnick whispered to his wife.
“It’s alright. Not today. We can come back later.”
 “No, you’re right. I can’t be scared forever. I can’t. I just hate the water Finn…”
 “I know you do. Come on, let’s go back inside.”
 “No,” Annie said firmly. She broke away from Finnick’s hug, and grabbed him by the hand. Annie couldn’t move though. Finnick wait for his wife to calm down a bit, and slowly they made their way into the sea.
Tears silently rolled down Annie’s face, but she refused to go back until her son had felt the ocean for the first time. Finnick softly gave words of encouragement to his wife, helping her wade deeper and deeper into the water.
They stopped when the water reached their stomachs. The water just touched the baby’s feet, and he start to get antsy. He started to cry, and Annie handed him over to Finnick.
 “Shhhhhh. It’s alright. It’s just the water buddy. It’s just like bath time. You love bath time. Here we go onnnnne, twooooo, threeeee.” Finnick jump up a little bit and sunk down into the water a little bit. “Onnnne, twoooo, threeeee” he said as he did it again.
Within a few jumps the baby was laughing and giggling. It wasn’t long before he was splashing and laughing with his father. Annie started crying again.
“He looks just like you Finn. He’s just like you.”
